Jackie Lynn Gilbert

Jack L. Gilbert a lifetime resident of Dewar was born October 11, 1940 in Henryetta, Oklahoma to Henry Gilbert & Maxine (Sturkie) Gilbert. Jack passed away Saturday, April 3, 2010 in Tulsa at the age of 69 years. He was a graduate of Dewar High School and Oklahoma State Tech. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Dewar. Jack is survived by a Daughter, Beth Danley & husband Marlon Lewis of Lake Belton, Texas, granddaughter, Shelby Danley of Lake Belton, Texas, Sister, Sandy Sharkey of Tulsa, Also by a niece, Denise Outlaw of Tulsa, Nephew Kent Sharkey of Tulsa, A great neice, Sydnee Outlaw of Tulsa, Uncle, Stephen Gilbert, Sr. of Dewar, Other family members include, Steve Gilbert & wife Joyce of Bixby, Terry Gilbert & wife Debbie of Moore, Jim Gilbert of Dewar, Prentiss Wade & wife Shirley of Tulsa, Irma Dean Walker, & husband Don of Henryetta, Patty Reed & husband Jim of Ft. Gibson, Doris Phillips of Henryetta, Phillip Henry of Tulsa, As well as a host of friends and other relatives. Honorary pallbearers will be, Gaston Hall, Troy Barnett, Ricky Andrews, Wade Walker, Joe Don Walker, & Stephen L. Gilbert. Viewing will begin at 4:00 p.m., Sunday until 8:00 p.m., and Monday, 8:00 a.m., until 1:00 p.m. The casket will remain closed for the service. Graveside Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 5, 2010 at Westlawn Cemetery with Rev. Jack Vance, officiating. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
