Freddie Ray Chastain

Freddie Ray Chastain, a longtime resident of Morris, Oklahoma, passed away on May 21, 2025, at the age of 73. He was born on June 18, 1951, in Henryetta, Oklahoma, to Fred Leroy Chastain and Gladys (Holt) Chastain.

Freddie attended Calvary Baptist Church. He retired from Anchor Glass after many years of service as a cullet handler and utility worker. Throughout his life, he also worked in the oil field and had a deep appreciation for working with livestock. He found great joy in spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and was an avid sports enthusiast.

He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Chastain; his son-in-law, Cauauhtemoc Mondragon; twin granddaughters; and an infant brother, Billy Eugene Chastain.

Freddie is survived by his daughter, Sarah Reagan of Preston; grandchildren, Michael Reagan III and Ciara Reagan of Preston; his mother, Gladys Chastain of Morris; sisters, Joyce Maylen and husband Larry of Morris, Peggy Hampton and husband Hansel of Eufaula, and Julie Green and husband Bret of Morris. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

A public viewing will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Integrity Funeral Service.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
