Florence Wynona Welch Winter

Florence Wynona Welch Winter, age 95, resident of Hitchita, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, November 13th, 2023 at her residence in Hitchita. She was born on August 3, 1928 in Nashville, Arkansas to A.B. and Essie Ellen (Cogdell) Fitzgerald.

Florence was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the Children of God church in Hitchita, Oklahoma.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husbands, Coyd Mari Welch and James Andrew Winter.

Survivors include her children, Coyd Welch, Janice Scamardo, Jimmie Winter, Carolyn Putman, Shirley Walden, Johnny Winter, Bart Winter, Brett Winter and adopted son Micheal White along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives.

Viewing for Florence will be on Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 1:00 PM till 8:00 PM at Integrity Funeral Service, 410 East Trudgeon Street, Henryetta, Oklahoma 74437.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the family cemetery located at 20945 South 350 Road, Boynton, Oklahoma 74422 with Reverend Glen Putman officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Coyd Welch, Jimmy Winter, Johnny Winter, Brett Winter, Andy Winter, Bart Winter and Micheal White.
