Pearl Turner, a resident of Mounds, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at the age of 66.
Pearl was born on August 23, 1959, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Otto Jacob Sneed and Laura Lee (Edmonds) Sneed. She dedicated much of her working life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant, a profession that reflected her compassionate and giving nature.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Otto Jacob Sneed and Laura Lee Sneed; her unborn child, Baby Wilcox; her sister, Catherine Sneed; her nephew, Donnie Ray Wallen; and her grandchild, Baby Cagle.
Pearl leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory, including her daughter, Crystal Turner of Mounds; her son, Gary "Bub" VanMeter and wife, Stephanie; five grandchildren, Cheyenne Soucy and husband, Easton, Meyah Cagle and husband, Kaden, Baily VanMeter and boyfriend, Bryant Sites, Karsyn VanMeter, and Everly VanMeter; one great-grandson, Tru Soucy; and a great-granddaughter expected soon, Letty Ruth Cagle.
She is also survived by her siblings, Elizabeth Wallen and husband, Donnie; Joyce Howell; Linda VanMeter; Jimmy Sneed and wife, Mary; Barbara Roberts; and Emma De La Cruz, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many friends who will miss her dearly.
Visitation will be from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at Integrity Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Gary "Bub" VanMeter officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Eufaula under the direction and care of Integrity Funeral Service.
Serving as pallbearers will be Easton Soucy, Kaden Cagle, Bryant Sites, Brandon De La Cruz, Randall De La Cruz, and Ryan "Bear" Yarbrough. Honorary pallbearers will be Willie Wallen, Jake Lewis, and Ruben De La Cruz.
