Eula Vonell Lassiter

Eula Vonell Lassiter, know to everyone as "Vonell" passed away Wednesday, May 6th, 2026 in Tulsa at the age of 68. She was born August 9th, 1957 in Okfuskee, Oklahoma to Alfred Smith and Nellie (Canoy) Smith.

Vonell worked as a cook at the K-Bar restaurant for many years. She was a faithful member of New Life Assembly of God Church in Henryetta.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Stacy Lassiter, siblings Evelyn Starkey, Edward Smith, George Smith, Gene Smith, Wanda Williams, Jerry Smith, Linda Smith and Bill Smith.

She is survived by her husband Leo Lassiter, five children, Christy Orr, Michelle Nichols, Jennifer Stacy, Chrissy Scher, and Stephanie Lesley. Eighteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Frances Brewer, Debbie Custar, and a brother, Delbert.

A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at New Life Assembly of God Church in Henryetta. Services are under the care and direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
