Ethel Marie Blankenship

Ethel Marie (Summers) Blankenship was born March 12, 1938 in Dustin to William F. Summers and Dorothy E. (Robinson) Summers. She passed away Monday, July 13th, 2026, at her home in Midwest City surrounded by her loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy Summers, her husband of seventy-two years, Franklin D. Blankenship.

She was a member of Countryside Baptist Church in Newalla, Oklahoma.

She is survived by two daughters, Judy Smith and husband Steve of Choctaw, Oklahoma; Donna Blankenship of Midwest City; her grandchildren, Franklin Smith and wife Martha of McLoud, Jennifer Noyes and husband Jason of Glenpool; Tracy Smith of Dallas; Jessica Costleigh and husband Christopher of Pasadena, Maryland; Five great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; one sister, Sarah Kindred of Norco, California; two brothers, Raymond Summers and wife Janice of Dustin; Billy Summers of Moore, Oklahoma; also by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.

Viewing for Marie will be from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 17th, 2026 at Dustin Cemetery with Pastor Justin Dunn officiating. Services are under direction and care of Integrity Funeral Service.
