Charles Ray Hughes

It is with deep sorrow and much love that the family of Charles Ray Hughes, Jr announce his passing on September 18, 2021. Charles was born August 24th, 1969 to Alice Elizabeth (Smith) and Charles Ray Hughes Sr in Henderson, Kentucky. Charlie Boy took his wings at the age of 52 after a long battle with serious medical issues, leaving a huge hole in the hearts of his family and friends.

He is now at peace, joining his parents Charles and Alice Hughes; along with his infant daughter Alexandra Hughes and his infant son, Michael Hughes.

God looked around his garden and found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the Earth and saw your face.
He put His arms around you and lifted you to rest.
God’s garden must be beautiful, He always takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering, He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never get well on Earth again.
He saw the road was getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb.
So, He closed your weary eyelids and whispered, “Peace be thine”.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone.
For part of us went with you the day God called you home.

Charles is survived by his children Cody Hughes, Logan Hughes and Cherish Hughes; his sister Charlotte and brother-in-law Robert Kuchinski; his sister Connie and brother-in-law Gary Gilmore; and numerous other family and friends.

Grave side burial at Sonora Cemetery, Henryetta, Oklahoma Saturday, September 25,2021 at 3:30. Celebration of life to follow.
