Carolyn Lorene Bowman

Carolyn Bowman, a resident of Checotah, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 82. She was born on Thursday, October 22, 1942, in Weleetka, Oklahoma, to Henry Crocket Patterson and Connie Lee Patterson.

Carolyn enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and baking, and she shared her talents generously with those around her. She was a former member of Allen Freewill Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry Ray Bowman; her granddaughter, Maquita Hasley; and her great-grandson, Gunner Smith.

Carolyn is survived by her three children: Barbara Fuller and husband Robert of Tulsa; Lucretia Bowman of Stigler; and William Ray Bowman and wife Jo Nell of Wetumka. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Additionally, she leaves behind her siblings: Bob Patterson of Beggs; Ed Patterson of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and Betty Hill of Holdenville.

Carolyn will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Viewing for Carolyn is scheduled for Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Integrity Funeral Service.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025, at 1:00 PM in the Integrity Chapel, officiated by Rev. Ryan Wells.
