Carlton Lee Dodge, a cherished family man and respected member of the Dewar community, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2024, at the age of 83. Born on August 25, 1940, in Henryetta, Oklahoma, Carlton's life was a testament to his loving nature, keen sense of humor, and friendly demeanor that touched everyone he met.

Carlton's journey began as the son of the late Ralph and Hazel (Perry) Dodge and he remained a lifelong resident of Dewar. His life was filled with the love and laughter of his family, including his two daughters, Amy Dodge and Edward Girard of Grapevine, Texas, and Tina Payne and her husband Clay of Henryetta. His granddaughter, Emily Payne, was a source of immense joy and pride. Carlton's close-knit family extended to his brothers, Paul Dodge and wife Darlene of Tiger Mountain, and Morris James Dodge and wife Susan of Henryetta, and John Kerr and wife Wilma of Henryetta. He was a cherished uncle to his nieces, Teresa Lewis, Jennifer Whitworth, Vickie Dodge, and his nephew, Derek Dodge. Carlton was predeceased by his beloved wife, Betty Dodge, his parents, his brother Ernie Wayne Dodge, his nephew Chuck Kerr, and his niece Anjanette Dodge.

His professional life was marked by dedication and skill; Carlton worked at PPG until its closure and later channeled his expertise into a successful career as a drafting engineer for various companies in Tulsa. Beyond work, Carlton's passions were evident in the meticulous care he took of his yard, his woodworking projects, and the countless hours he spent tending to his flowers and garden.

Carlton will be remembered as a beacon of love and friendship, a man who brought laughter and warmth to any gathering. His legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of the numerous cousins, friends, and other relatives who had the privilege of knowing him. Carlton Lee Dodge's memory will be forever cherished as a life well-lived and full of love.

Viewing for Carlton will be from 6 - 8 pm Thursday, May 16th, 2024 at Integrity Funeral Service. Family will also be present to greet friends from 6 - 8 pm.

Pallbearers will be Carlton's nephews, Ian Lewis, Travis Lewis, Beau Jones, Noel Whitworth, and Derek Dodge.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am Friday, May 17, 2024 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Brett Wheeler and Rev. Suzie Stephens officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery.
