Jacey Clare Fox, a spirited and passionate young girl, lived her life with an adventurous heart and an unwavering love for her family and friends. Born on April 12, 2009, in Ft. Lewis, Washington, Jacey's zest for life was evident from the very beginning. Tragically, she passed away on April 1, 2023, in Orlando, Florida, due to a drowning accident. However, her legacy will continue to inspire and motivate those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Jacey's family was the cornerstone of her life, providing her with love, support, and encouragement. She is survived by her parents, Joe Broc Fox and Laura Fox of Lake Mary, Florida; her sister, Peyton Fox of Norman, Oklahoma; her brother, Royce Fox of Lake Mary, Florida; her grandfather, Cary Fox of Natura, Oklahoma; her grandmother, Ramona Van Laningham and husband Raymond of Elk Grove, California; her grandfather, Rocklan Miller and wife Phyllis of Biloxi, Mississippi; her uncles, Joshua Fox and wife Annie of Natura, OK, Jay Fox and wife Bobbie of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, and Brian Miller and wife Sarah of Ocean Springs, Mississippi; as well as a host of cousins and other relatives. Each of these individuals played a significant role in shaping Jacey's life, and their love for her will continue to shine brightly in their memories.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ida Nell Fox, and her great grandparents.
Jacey's interests were as diverse and vibrant as her personality. She loved swimming, spending countless hours in the water, perfecting her strokes and challenging herself to become a stronger swimmer. Her passion for swimming was matched only by her love for swings and roller coaster rides. Jacey's adventurous spirit led her to seek out the tallest, fastest, and most thrilling rides she could find, always eager to experience the adrenaline rush that came with each new adventure.
In her final act of generosity, Jacey became a hero to others through organ donation. Her heart, liver, kidneys, and pancreas were used to save the lives of those in desperate need, a testament to her compassionate and giving nature. Jacey's selflessness in this regard serves as a powerful reminder of the impact one person can have on the lives of others, even in the face of tragedy.
As we remember Jacey Fox, let us celebrate her life and the many ways in which she touched the hearts of those around her. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Little Cemetery, 11522 North Highway 99, Seminole, Oklahoma with Reverend Scott McCullah officiating.
