Alleena Michelle Harley, 35, a resident of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, a spirited, adventurous, and courageous woman, passed away peacefully of natural causes on September 3, 2023, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. Born on October 20, 1987, in Claremore, Oklahoma, to Patsy Mae (Coachman) and Alfred Harley.
Alleena's vibrant spirit and loving nature left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Raised in the Okmulgee School District, Alleena's tenacity and dedication to her studies were evident from an early age. Her hard work paid off when she accepted a scholarship to Bacone College, where she earned an Associate's Degree. This was a testament to her commitment to education and her determination to succeed.
Alleena's professional life was as fulfilling as her academic journey. For over fifteen years, she served as a Risk Management Analyst with Emergency Risk Management of the Muscogee Creek Nation. Her colleagues admired her for her dedication, and she was known for her ability to navigate complex situations with grace and poise.
Outside of her professional life, Alleena was a devoted daughter to her mother, Patsy Mae Harley, and a beloved sister to Alsie Barker, Aletha Harley, and Alisha Harley. She was also a cherished "mother" aunt to many nieces and nephews. Her family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Alleena's love for her family was only matched by her passion for sports. Known as "Sportsmom," she participated in all things sports-related, from her childhood schooldays where she played softball and earned the nickname "3 Masters Harley" in high school. She also played middle position in her team, fondly known as "Leendogg." She was a regular attendee at her nieces' and nephews' sporting events, always cheering them on with unwavering support.
Travel was another of Alleena's passions. She loved visiting her sister Alex in Houston, and her adventurous spirit led her to explore new places and cultures. Holidays and family gatherings were particularly special to her, as they provided an opportunity to create lasting memories with her loved ones.
Music was a significant part of Alleena's life. She was a fan of many artists, but Taylor Swift and Eminem held a special place in her heart. She attended many of their concerts, and her love for their music was infectious.
In remembering Alleena, we celebrate a life lived to the fullest. Her spirit, courage, and adventurous nature were an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
May Alleena Michelle Harley rest in peace, knowing that her life was a beacon of love, courage, and adventure. Her memory will forever be cherished and her spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her.
