Samuel Sloan Obituary
Samuel Daxx Sloan, a resident of Wetumka, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 5. He was born Tuesday, January 22, 2013 in Okmulgee, OK to Rodney Sloan & Sherrie (Remis) Sloan.
He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandmother, Evelyn Young, maternal great grandparents, Ann and Sam Remis, grandfather, David Retherford, one sister, Presley Tiger.
Sam was a very intelligent, funny, energetic, loving, caring and compassionate boy. If you were having a bad day, he would cheer you up. If someone was being mean to another, he would defend them. Sam adored his older siblings, especially his sister Peighton. Sam liked dinosaurs, sharks and most all animals. He enjoyed playing with his toys, watching SpongeBob, Rampage, Jurassic World, Kung Fu Panda and Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosauars among other movies. He loved playing on his tablet, building forts and tents with his sister Peighton. He enjoyed fruit snacks, Life Saver gummies, and goldfish. Sam also loved coloring and playing with the family's two cats.
Samuel is survived by his parents, Rodney and Sherrie Sloan of the home,
brother, Dalton Tiger of the home,
brother, Logan Tiger of the home,
sister, Peighton Tiger of the home,
paternal grandmother, Dreama Burns of Mount Vernon, Washington,
maternal grandmother, Linda Retherford of Henryetta,
aunt, Mitzy Brantley of McKinney, Texas,
aunt, Terisha Aragon of Norman,
aunt, Rebecka Lewis of Weleetka,
uncle, Jay Poole of Henryetta,
uncle, Travis Poole of Wetumka,
as well as a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be from 2-8 pm on Saturday, November 24 at Integrity Funeral Service.
A wake service is scheduled for Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Integrity Chapel from 6-8pm.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, November 26, 2018 at Integrity Chapel at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Wetumka Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
