Ruth George Obituary
Ruth Ann George, a resident of Dewar died Monday, December 9th in Tulsa at the age of 72. She was born Apil 26, 1947 in McIntosh County to Pete Stanton & Beatrice (Howk) Stanton. Ruth Ann worked for Anchor Glass Company for 39 years, retiring in 2018.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Pete & Bea Stanton, also by two sisters, Esther Harwell & Charlene Freeman;
She is survived by a daughter, Dawn Brown & husband Jim of Bristow;
Three grandchildren, Courtney Brown, Tiffany Bussell, & Thomas Brown;
Three great grandchildren, Aaron Bussell, Floyd Bussell, & Lloyd Bussell;
One brother, Terry Stanton of Dewar;
One sister, Betty Burney of Midwest City;
Also by several nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
No services are planned at this time.
