Nora June (Stone) Barnes

Nora June Barnes, a resident of Henryetta passed away Monday, April 4th, 2016 at her home in Henryetta at the age of 80. She was born June 27, 1935 in Ada, Oklahoma to John W. Stone & Nora (Hensley) Stone. She married George Allen Barnes on January 11, 1955 in Ada, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Dewar First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Barnes was very proud of her involvement with the Red Cross organization. She was always there to donate blood and over the years had donated multiple gallons of blood to help others.

She is preceded in death by her husband George Allen Barnes, her parents, John & Nora Stone, , a sister, Mary Cole, and three brothers, Ozie Bob Stone, Henry D. Stone, & Jerry Stone.

She is survived by her children, Mollie Bennett & husband Dave of Sapulpa;
George Barnes & wife Ronda of Sapulpa;
Louise Barnes of Henryetta;
Judy Rawlings & husband Mike of Schulter;
Betty Hedrick of Henryetta;
Jerry Barnes of Lawton;
John Barnes of Enid;
Seventeen Grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren and one on the way.

Viewing will be on Wednesday from 5pm until 8pm and on Thursday from 8am until 8pm with family present to greet friends from 6pm until 8pm.

Pallbearers will be, Mike Bennett, Matt Bennett, Marc Bennett, Cody Barnes, Clint Barnes, Brian Rawlings, Derek Hedrick, & John Barnes.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 8, 2016 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Ryan Wells, officiating. Interment will follow in Bache Red Oak Cemetery, Krebs, Oklahoma under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
