Neal Douglas Lackey, a resident of Henryetta, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 81. He was born December 11, 1935 in Hitchita, OK to Omer Lackey & Irene Anglin Lackey.

Neal was a member of the Quarter Horse Association, Oklahoma Automobile Dealer Association and was an original member of the Jaycees.

He was a member of the First Christian Church in Henryetta where he served as a deacon. He was also a member of the Tulledega Hills Baptist Church in Henryetta.
He worked for Jimmie Ruth Motor Company and later was co-owner with Jimmie Lee Ruth.
Neal owned and operated Neal Lackey Used Cars in Henryetta for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Omer and Irene Lackey, brother Tommy Lackey, sister, Peggy Durbin, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jimmie and Thelma Ruth, and brother-in-law, Jimmie Lee Ruth.

Neal is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shirley Lackey of the home,
daughter, Julie Huckeby of Henryetta,
daughter, Jamie Arnold & husband Larry of Henryetta,
daughter, Leslye Lackey & Mike Althaus of Henryetta,
five grandchildren, Megan Lackey of Henryetta,
Josh Gilbert & wife Robin of Tulsa,
Matt Beard & Brentney Rich of Henryetta,
Jeff Gilbert & Christian Pak of Oklahoma City,
Michael Huckeby and fiance Myriam Nunez of El Paso, Texas,
five great grandchildren, Maddox Lackey, Kennadie Beard,
Logan Beard, Shelby Jestice, and Latha Beard,
very special cousin, Debi Andrews of Denison, Texas,
as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be from 10am-8pm on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Integrity Funeral Service with the family present to greet from 6-8pm.

Pallbearers will be Josh Gilbert, Jeff Gilbert, Matt Beard, Mike Althaus, Larry Arnold, Lloyd Andrews. Honorary Pallbearers, Fred Jones, Tom Henry, Bob Mace, Robert Gerety, Dutch Vandenborn, Darrell Wells, and Carl Don Dickey.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm., October 26, 2017 at the First Christian Church in Henryetta, Oklahoma (412 N. 5th Street) with Rev. Dale Huckabay, officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery. Services are under the care and direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
