Mohammed Zahid Shaikh, a resident of Edmond, Oklahoma passed from this life on July 13, 2017 in Oklahoma City. He was born May 11, 1945 in Bombay, India to Rafiuddin Shaikh and Zubieda (Khatoon) Shaikh.

Mohammed moved to Oklahoma in 1972 where he attended school in Okmulgee. He married the love of his life, Susie Smith May 4, 1974 in Graham, Oklahoma.

Moe worked many years in restaurant management. He enjoyed gardening, spending time with family and traveling.

He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, a sister-in-law, Barbara Smith, and a brother-in-law, Bryon Smith.

Mohammed is survived by his wife Susie of the home;
A son, Saleem Shaikh of Edmond;
A daughter, Rubeena Shaikh of Edmond;
Three grandchildren, Zachary Shaikh of Rockwall, Texas;
Sarah Shaikh of Rockwall, Texas;
Christopher Shaikh of Taunton, Massachusetts;
Two brothers-in-law, Bruce Smith & wife Vicky of Weleetka;
Brent Smith & wife Rita of Weleetka;
Also by a host of friends and other relatives.

Viewing for Mohammed will be on 2 - 8pm, Sunday, July 16, 2017 at Integrity Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be Brent Smith, Bruce Smith, Saleem Shaikh, Zachary Shaikh, Jason Smith, & Brent Smith, Jr.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Monday, July 17, 2017 at Integrity Chapel. Interment will follow in New Sonora Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
