Joyce Elaine Gaither

Joyce Elaine Gaither, a resident of Henryetta passed away Friday, March 1st, 2019 in Dewar at the age of 70. She was born June 14, 1948 in Henryetta to Elgan & Eldene (Mitchell) Cunningham.

Joyce married the love of her life, Donald Wayne Gaither on September 28, 1964 in Oklahoma City. Joyce and Don worked together at Anchor Glass Company in Henryetta for many years and retired together to spend time with family and their home on the river.

She was a member of the Tulledega Hills Baptist Church in Henryetta.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Elgan and Eldene Cunningham and her husband Donald Wayne Gaither.

She is survived by her son, Lloyd Gaither & wife Traci of Dewar;
Two grandchildren, Ashton Deming & husband Cody of Raeford, N.C.;
Tristan Gaither of Dewar;
Three great grandchildren, Kalli Gaither, Damon & Avery Deming;
One sister, Virginia Scott & husband Ricky of Henryetta;
One brother, Eric Cunningham of Henryetta;
As well as a host of friends and other relatives.

Viewing for Joyce will be from 8am until 8pm, Wednesday, March 6th with family present to greet friends from 6-8pm.

Pallbearers will be Cody Deming, Steve Hunnicutt, Bobby Roper, Kevin Westmoreland, Devin Blood, & Dustin Blood. Honorary pallbearers will be Dean Green, Eldon Oberson, Kenneth Billbe & Robert Lee.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 7th, 2019 at Integrity Chapel with Rev. Dale Huckabay & Rev. Robert Hunnicutt officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
