James "Sonny" Curry Jenkins

James "Sonny" Curry Jenkins a resident of Henryetta passed from this life on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa Oklahoma at the age of 83. James was born on July 2nd, 1935 in Tulsa to Minnie (Lewis) and Howard Prue Jenkins. Sonny was a Transmission specialist and worked in the auto Industry until he retired. Sonny married Fay (Neal) Jenkins on August 8,1975 in Schulter, Oklahoma.

Sonny is preceded in death by both of his parents, and two brothers Howard Prue Jenkins Jr. and Bobby Jenkins.

Daughter, Stephanie Bradley & Foster of Wilson, Oklahoma,
Adopted son, Bill Carter of Schulter Oklahoma,
Two grandchildren, James William Bradley of Amory, MS,
and Genna Bradley of Okmulgee, OK,
One great grandchild, Killian Faolin Bradley of Amory MS,
One Brother, David Prue Jenkins of Tulsa Oklahoma and
One Sister, Dana Evans of Morris Oklahoma, as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing will be Sunday, February 24, 2019 from 4pm to 8pm. Monday February 25 all day 8am to 8pm.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday February 26,2019 at the Integrity Funeral Service Chapel at 2:00pm with Rev. Paul Brown, Officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta, Oklahoma.
