Helen Louise (McClellan) Mack

Helen Louise Mack, a resident of Grayson, passed away Wednesday, October 16, 2019 in Henryetta, OK at the age of 82. She was born January 29, 1937 in Schulter, OK to Booker T. McClellan Sr. & Gladys (Sanders) McClellan.

Helen liked to cook, quilt, pick pecans, gardening and loved people. She worked 3 jobs when she was of working age. She was a mid-wife, singer and she cleaned houses. She always did her best to provide for all seven of her children.
She married Nathaniel Mack Sr at a young age and attended Union Baptist Church where she was baptized and sang in the choir. She enjoyed having her grandchildren around her. She loved family and having them over during the holidays. She would cook so much food that she insisted that you take some home with you.
She wasn't one for the touchy feely type of love, but you knew she loved you by what she did for you.
She would not only make sure you had food to eat, but she would slip you a little money every now and then as well. She was concerned about you as a person.
My cousin John said she was always on her feet moving and busy all the time serving others. Matthew 23:11 said “But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant”. Helen (mom) was a great woman and she will truly be missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathaniel Mack Sr., one son, Phillip Mack Sr., siblings, Alma Simmons, James McClellan, Lonnie McClellan, Bonnie McClellan, and Roy McClellan.

   DeAnte' Hawkins, and Adrian Hawkins.

   children, Stephanie Rice, Tosha Rice, Phillip Rice,
   and Sarah Fisher (Stepdaughter)

Viewing will be from 5-8 pm on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Integrity Funeral Service.

Funeral Services are scheduled for Monday, October 21, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Union Baptist Church in Grayson, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at Genesis Cemetery in Grayson, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
