Hazel Louise Wilson, a resident of Henryetta passed away Friday, June 9th, 2017 in Henryetta at the age of 84. She was born April 21, 1933 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Charlie Vowell & Grace (Bailey) Vowell.

She married Roger Gale Wilson October 10, 1956 in Henrietta, Texas. She and her husband Roger owned and operated Roger's IGA in Henryetta for 27 years retiring in 1994. She was a member of the Church of Christ at 5th & Broadway. Hazel loved sewing and was an excellent seamstress as well as her love of music and singing. Hazel & Roger had been residents of Henryetta for 50 years.

Hazel is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie & Grace Vowell, six brothers, Eugene Vowell, Emitt Vowell, Edward Vowell, Robert Vowell, Willis Vowell, Everett Vowell, and by one sister, Jewell Johnson.

She is survived by her husband Roger of the home;
Two daughters, Rhonda G. Chrysler & husband Randy of Henryetta;
Beverly W. Araki of Buda, Texas;
Four grandchildren, Stephanie Dunn & husband Jodie of Dewar;
Brandon Chrysler of Henryetta;
Krystle O'Bryan & husband Pat of Edmond;
Kelli Stansifer & Charley Reddick of Henryetta;
Nine great-grandchildren, Jeremy Dunn, Schiann Dunn, Jacob Dunn,
Shaunie Dunn, Josiah Dunn, Noah O'Bryan, Katelynn O'Bryan,
Emmalie Stansifer & Ella Reddick;
One brother, Franklin Vowell of Van Buren, Arkansas;
A brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Larry & Kay Wilson of Marlow, Oklahoma;
As well as a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.

Viewing for Mrs. Wilson will be on Tuesday from 1pm - 8pm at Integrity Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be, Bill Rose, Billy Green, Bob Herring, Jim Herring, Larry Joswiak, Larry Thrower, Harold Casler & Earl Freeman. Honorary pallbearers will be, Duane Davidson, Clyde Estes, Jack Keller & Everett Prevett.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at the Church of Christ with Rex Walcher officiating. Interment will follow in Westlawn Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
