Grace Margaret Almendariz, a resident of Henryetta, passed away in the early morning hours of November 22, 2017 at her home in Henryetta at the age of 80. Margaret was born on July 14, 1937 in Gowin, Oklahoma to Thomas Almendariz and Grace Jackson Almendariz. As a young girl she attended elementary school in Dewar, before moving to Henryetta Public Schools where she graduated high school.

Following high school, Margaret went to work at Ball Brothers Glass Plant where she remained employed for 23 years and until the plant was closed. Of Margaret's greatest loves, she enjoyed gardening the most, spending many hours cultivating her soil and harvesting her crops.

Margaret is preceded in death by both her mother and father; by two brothers, Tommy Almendariz, Jr. and Wesley Lishbrook; a niece, Christy Almendariz; and an infant, Carrie Almendariz.

She is survived by her sister, Delores Terrill and husband Ray of Schulter; a nephew, Gary Terrill of Henryetta; a niece, Renee Terrill of Henryetta; nephew, Mike Terrill of Indiana; a nephew, Little Ray Terrill of Henryetta; a sister-in-law, Patsy Almendariz of Kansas; nephews, Roger Lishbrook and Steview LIshbrook; by numerous nieces and nephews, other extended family and many good friends.

Following cremation, services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta.
