Gladys Elizabeth Farris

Gladys Elizabeth Farris, a resident of Henryetta passed away Saturday, June 8th, 2019 in Tulsa at the age of 89. She was born December 29th, 1929 in Phoenix, Arizona to Eli Truex & Doris (Joyce) Truex.

Gladys began her career as a registered nurse in 1952 and gave excellent care to patients. She later gave up her career as a nurse to become a full time mother and homemaker. She was greatly loved by her family and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband James Russell Farris in 2017.

She is survived by four children, Rusti Boyles & husband Gene of Bixby;
Jon Farris & wife Leah of Henryetta;
Jason Farris & wife Heather of Tulsa;
Jon Farris, II & Courney Williams of Okmulgee;
Her grandchildren, Crystal Farris of Denver, Colorado;
Micah Boyles of Bixby;
Kelly Folsom & husband Kody Of Lubbock, Texas;
Alexa Farris of Tulsa;
Bradley Farris of Tulsa;
Great grandchildren, Maddison Fry, Dakota Folsom, Dusty Folsom & Cate Folsom;
One sister, Joan Buehler of Texas;
Additional family members include, Karen Lee Cuddeback, Nikilas Cuddeback, Meghan Cuddeback, & Frank Seamon;
Also by nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.

No local services are planned. Interment will be at a later date in Illinois.

The family wishes to thank all the staff and doctors at Hillcrest Hospital South for the excellent care given to Mrs. Farris.
