Geraldine "Jerry" Tippie, a longtime resident of Henryetta passed away Wednesday, November 15th, 2017 in Okmulgee at the age of 89. She was born August 17, 1928 in Poteau, Oklahoma to J. W. "Bill" Hancock & Irma (Burd) Hancock.

Jerry married Charles Tippie November 26, 1948 in Van Buren, Arkansas. Jerry worked for many years at Berry Drug in Henryetta and was a lifetime member of the First United Methodist Church.

Jerry is preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles "Charlie" Tippie, and one sister, Pauline Tipton, also by a nephew, Jimmy Steve Vernetti.


She is survived by one daughter, Charlene Martin & husband Tommy of Morris;
Two grandchildren, Chuck Martin & wife Terri;
Leslie Dodge & husband Clayton;
Five great grandchildren, Courtney Mordecai & husband T. J.;
Jeremy Gibson; Tahmarah Martin; Halee Dodge; & Alexis Dodge;
Five great-great grandchildren, Jadince Rahobi, Caylah Rahobi, Adeline Mordecai, Gracie Laughlin, & Nathan Mordecai.
A special nephew, Buddy Vernetti & wife Jakey of Bentonville, Arkansas;
Also by a many nieces & nephews and a host of friends.

Viewing for Jerry will be on 4 - 8pm, Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Integrity Funeral Service.

Graveside services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 20, 2017 at Westlawn Cemetery with Rev. Matthew Martin officiating. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
