Elsie Jane Tecumseh

Elsie Jane Tecumseh born January 9, 1947 to George Wesley (GW) Harjo and Cora (Davis) Harjo in Talihina, Oklahoma. Elsie retired from Ball Brothers Glass Company in Okmulgee after several years and later worked as a sales associate at Walmart in Henryetta.

She is preceded in death by her birth parents and mother, Sukey Lowe; son, Geronimo Louis Tecumseh; and sister, Pauline Harjo.

She is survived by one daughter, Carmin Tecumseh-Williams & Husband Joe Williams of
Mounds, Oklahoma;
One son, Simeon Lee Jr. & wife Theresa Wisner-Lee of Glenpool, Ok.;
Stepdaughters; Sebrina Lee of Morris, Oklahoma;
Sharla (Lee) Harjo of Henryetta, Oklahoma;
Selestene Lee of Okmulgee, Oklahoma;
A daughter in-law Mulsie Tecumseh of Wilson Community
Life long companion, Simeon Lee Sr.

Viewing for Elsie will be on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

At 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, the casket will be taken to the Silver Spring Baptist Church, (8 miles east on I-40, take Tiger Mountain exit, follow road straight ahead (east) to the church) with Wake Services scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be, Logan Gore, Joshua Burgess, Garrett Sands, Solomon Lee, Trenton Tarpaleechee, & J. W. Harjo, III. Honorary pallbearers, Jeremy Tecumseh, Joe Williams, Preston Williams, Monroe Burgess, Jr., Mason Harjo & nephews of Elsie.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 18th, 2018 at Silver Spring Baptist Church with Rev. A. J. Tiger and Rev. Gary Hawkins officiating. Silver Spring Baptist Church is located 8 miles east on I-40, take Tiger Mountain exit, follow road straight ahead (east) to the church.

Interment will follow in Burgess Family Cemetery near Schulter under direction and care of Integrity Funeral Service.
