Chotke "Joe" Haynes

Chotke "Joe" Haynes, a resident of Tahlequah, passed away October 06, 2018 in Tahlequah, OK at the age of 80. He was born October 5, 1938 in Henryetta, OK to Lawrence Haynes & Effie (Harjo) Haynes.

He was preceded in death by his parents Lawrence & Effie Haynes, One daughter Marcella "Marcy" Haynes and one Sister Millie "Hokte" Harvey.

Chotke is survived by His wife Sherry of the home, Sons, Michael Wakatani of Chicago Illinois, Marcus Pitawanakwat of Canada and C.J. Haynes of Canada. Two daughters, Dorena Wakatani of Julliett, Illinois and Tina Wakatani of Texas; a brother John "Pee Wee" Haynes; three step-sons, White Robertson, Matthew Robertson and Charlie Robertson, all of Tahlequah; and a step-daughter, Crystal Robertson of Tahlequah; as well as 19 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren and a host of friends and family.

Wake service will be 7pm on Friday at Hickory Ground #1 Church. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Saturday October 13, at Hickory Ground #1 Church with Rev. Mitchell Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at Hickory Ground Church Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta.
