Betty Lou Anderson

Betty L. Anderson, a longtime resident of Okmulgee-Morris area passed away Sunday, August 18th, 2019 in Okmulgee at the age of 85. She was born January 8, 1934 in Blanchard, Oklahoma to John Wesley Graham and Verna Fussell Graham.

Betty worked as a social worker with Department of Human Services for 22 years. Previously she worked as a cook for the school and Cattleman's Restaurant, also at Reynold's Lumber and Hardware and Randy's Frozen Food. Betty was a wonderful seamstress making many of her clothing as well as for others.

She and Russell were members of the United Pentecostal Church in Morris for many years where she taught Sunday School as well as a faithful member. For the last several years they were members of Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Tulsa.

She is preceded in death by her husband Russell, her parents as well as 11 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by four children, Allen Anderson & wife Judy of Broken Arrow;
Janice Hurt & husband Jimmy of Morris;
Royce Ann Henderson & husband David of Kennett, Missouri;
Doug Anderson & wife Brenda of Jenks;
14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, & 1 great-great grandchild.

Viewing for Betty will be from 5-8pm Tuesday, August 20th at Integrity Funeral Service with family present to greet friends from 5-7pm.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 21st, 2019 at the Morris United Pentecostal Church, 608 W. Ozark, Morris, Oklahoma. Rev. Gary Howard & Rev. David Henderson will officiate. Interment will follow in Morris Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.

Pallbearers will be Dewayne Hurt, Michael Hurt, Keith Hurt, Shane Henderson, Todd Henderson, Ryan Anderson, Jared Anderson & Kyle Anderson.
