Rebecca Ann Lee, age 75, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2024, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Born on September 23, 1948, in Henryetta, Oklahoma, she was the cherished daughter of Samuel and Dimple (Loyd) Lewis. Rebecca's life was characterized by kindness, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to her family and those in need.
Rebecca's early years were spent in Henryetta, where her warm smile and caring nature were cultivated. She married Joe Allen Lee on August 6, 1965 in Henryetta, Oklahoma and they made their home in Henryetta. She attended school in Henryetta and demonstrated a resilient spirit by achieving her GED in 1980. In her professional life, Rebecca dedicated many years as a medical clerk in the medical field, providing support and comfort to those around her until her retirement in 2011.
Throughout her life, Rebecca embodied the spirit of community and faith. She was an integral part of the Tulledega Hills Church in Henryetta for many years, where her involvement enriched the lives of her fellow parishioners. Her faith and compassion were her guiding forces, and she lived her beliefs through action, becoming a faithful contributor to Saint Jude's Children's Hospital, ensuring that her warmth touched the lives of children and families far and wide.
She was preceded in death by her adoring parents, her caring husband, and her dear sisters, Kaye Hamm and Linda Williams, her legacy of love lives on through those she leaves behind.
She is survived by her devoted son, Johnny Lee, and his wife, Donna, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Her grandchildren, Jared Lee of Bristow, Oklahoma, Kris Bolen of Sapulpa, Oklahoma, and Keith Bolen of Tulsa, Oklahoma and will hold their memories of their grandmother in their hearts forever. Additionally, Rebecca was a proud great-grandmother to Kaden Bolen of Henryetta, Oklahoma.
Viewing for Rebecca will be on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 5:00 PM till 8:00 PM at Integrity Funeral Service, 410 East Trudgeon Street, Henryetta, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Integrity Chapel with Reverend Dale Huckabay officiating. Burial will follow the service at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta, Oklahoma.
