I somehow found myself here as I sit in a coffee shop, trying to wake up here in LA. Ron, I think about you every day, ever since I left the house when I was 19 to travel and pursue music. I’ve tried so hard throughout my life to be role model for your son and my brother, Hunter. And honestly, it still hurts to know you’re not around to give me life advice that I could always use, or that strong handshake even my friends talked about. You are an inspiration, and you brought my mom so much happiness when you guys met. I was only 8 at that time and still was trying figure out exactly what was going on, but now I couldn’t be thankful of how life had turned out. I miss you, even as I type this, and might even come back to this from time to time, but I promise to come home more. See Mom and spend time with Hunter. I love you big guy, so much, and life will never really feel the same without you. Well, I’m off work today. But I’ll take your advice and “make all the money I can make.”
Hope to make you proud. I love you.

I worked with Ron many years as a business partner. He was in the glass business and I am in the box business. I’ve missed working with him. He was a very good man and a good OSU guy! I enjoyed our talks about OSU. I am sorry for his families loss.

We are very saddened by the death of Ron. I always enjoyed our fun buying, selling, and trading guns over the years. I miss him. --Dale
I first met Ron when attempting to place my cooperative education students in workplaces in the Henryetta area several years ago, and Ron was instrumental in helping me get students hired at Anchor Glass, one of whom is still employed there. Great man and fun to visit with. --Billie

This is a sad time to think another friend Ronnie lost his battle. There were good memories with him. Happy time in heaven knowing Ronnie is walking with the lord. Much peace to Ronnie’s family.
