Peggy I. Durbin, a resident of Henryetta passed away Sunday, September 24th in Henryetta at the age of 88. She was born August 28, 1929 in Hitchita, Oklahoma to Omer & Irene (Anglin) Lackey. Peggy attended school in Hichita and later married Hubert Durbin of Dewar, he preceded her in death in 2002. She worked for 30 years at Economy Lumber in Tulsa. She was a member of Garden Heights Freewill Baptist Church in Sand Springs.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Omer & Irene Lackey, her husband Hubert Durbin, a son Ricky Omer Durbin, also one brother, Tommy Lackey.

She is survived by one brother, Neal Lackey & wife Shirley of Henryetta;
Nieces, Julie Huckeby, Jamie Arnold & husband Larry, Leslye Lackey and Mike Althaus; a good friend and provider, Carmel Bernard; as well as several great & great-great nieces and nephews, friends and other relatives.

Viewing for Peggy will be from 10:00 a.m, Wednesday until noon at Integrity Funeral Service.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 27th, 2017 at Lackey Cemetery in Hitchita with Rev. Dale Huckabay officiating. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
