Maxey Dale Dunn, a lifetime resident of the Henryetta - Dewar area was born October 23, 1958 in Claremore, Oklahoma. He passed away, Wednesday, April 28, 2010 in Henryetta at the age of 51.
Maxey grew up in Dewar and graduated from Dewar High School with the class of 1976. He attended the Silver Spring Baptist Church. Maxey enjoyed sporting events of all kinds and had a love of photography. He was employed by Creek Nation Casino in the Accounting Department.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Irma Johnson, maternal grandparents, Jack and Leah Davis, an uncle Danny Davis, and an aunt Melvina Davis.
He is survived by: One daughter, Brandi Dunn of Henryetta, One son, Aaron Fox of Stillwater, One granddaughter, Rachel Dunn of Wilson Community, Father, Bill Dunn & wife Karen of Okmulgee, Four brothers, Jodie Dunn & wife Stephanie of Dewar, Lance Johnson of Bixby, Thomas Dunn of Beggs, Billy Dunn of Okmulgee, Two sisters, Eugenia Gaches & husband Jimmy of Schulter, Donna Dunn of Okmulgee, As well as nieces, nephews, a host of friends and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be, Gary Watson, Kevin Watson, Melvin Frenchman, Phillip Anderson, Casey McIntosh, Dennis Gooden, & Stoney McIntosh.
Honorary pallbearer will be, Julian Watson.
Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 1, 2010 at the Dewar First Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Bible & Rev. Jack Vance, officiating. Interment will be in Silver Spring Cemetery under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
