Linda Elaine Hubbard, a resident of Henryetta, passed from this life on Monday, October 10, 2016 in Talihina, Oklahoma at the age of 70. Linda was born on September 2, 1946 in Oildale, California to Earl E. Yaugher and Wanda L Heard Yaugher.

Linda grew up in Orange County, California. After high school, Linda joined the U.S. Army in 1966. After serving in the Army, Linda received her honorable discharge. Following her military service, Linda faithfully served as a longtime member and officer with the Amvets organization in Orange County. Linda worked professionally primarily as a bookkeeper. She retired from her career after 40 years of service, while employed with the City of Porterville, CA. She moved back to Henryetta, OK in 2015.

Linda was married to Virgil Raymond Hubbard on March 26, 1990 in Las Vegas, Nevada.. They remained happily married for approximately 25 years before Raymond's death. Linda loved to read and to play bingo. Most of all, Linda enjoyed time spent with her daughters, her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter and she will be missed by the many people who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, Virgil Raymond Hubbard; a daughter, Wendy Roper Lehman; a grandson, Doug Newman; and by two sisters and two brothers.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Heather Lehman Michna and husband John of OakHill, CA; by six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; and by a sister, Karen Murphy and husband Willie of Henryetta.

Following cremation, a private memorial service will be held at a later date, with interment at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella, California. Services have been entrusted to Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta.
