Karen Elizabeth (Lay) Thompson, a resident of Henryetta passed away Tuesday, August 1st, 2017 in Tulsa at the age of 55. She was born September 1, 1961 in Henryetta to Charles D. Lay & Janna S. (Hall) Lay.

She was a member of the Dewar United Pentecostal Church. Karen worked in foster care as a foster parent.

She is survived by two sons:
Dennis Paul Thompson & wife Amanda of Hulbert;
Wade Daniel Thompson & wife Shawna of Hulbert;
Four grandsons: Devin Thompson, Parker Thompson, Zane Thompson, & Elijah Thompson
Her parents: Charles & Janna Lay of Schulter;
One brother: Karl Ivan Lay & wife Sonia of Granada Hills, California;
Also by a host of friends and other relatives.

Memorial services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Friday at the Dewar United Pentecostal Church with Rev. Matthew Martin officiating, assisted by Rev. Duane Henley. Arrangements were made through Integrity Funeral Service.
