John Charles Frits, a resident of Morris passed away Monday, August 22nd, 2016 in Okmulgee at the age of 72. John was born June 23, 1944 in Chelsea, Oklahoma to Charles Raymond Frits and Lillian (James) Frits.

John was very patriotic and PROUD to be an American. He proudly served and was a veteran of the United States Army. He is retired from AT&T and worked as a line technician for 32 years, retiring in 1995.

He married Evelyn Gann March 5, 1993 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Nikki Merricks and two infant sons.

He is survived by by his wife Evelyn of the home;
His children, Connie Perryman & husband David of Tulsa;
Cheryl Smith of Bristow;
Bobbie Bracy of Sapulpa;
Nine grandchildren;
Two sisters, Ramona of Nowata and Maggie of Texas
As well as a host of friends and other relatives.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at Westlawn Cemetery with Rev. James Page officiating. Services are under direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
