Janet Lee (Yardy) Green, a resident of Henryetta, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in Henryetta, OK at the age of 64. She was born January 24, 1954 in Henryetta, OK to Elliott "Doc" Yardy & Millie (Starr) Yardy.
She was a member of Hickory Ground #2 Indian Baptist Church in rural Henryetta, Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Doc and Millie Yardy, and by her brother, Tommy Yardy.
Janet is survived by her husband, Dean Green of the home,
daughter, Kara Lee & husband Toney of Okemah, Oklahoma,
daughter, Jennifer Turley & husband Brandon of Henryetta, Oklahoma,
grandchildren: Kyler Lee & fiance, Libbie Rutland of Shawnee,
Tayler Lee of Okemah,
Brayden Lee of Okemah,
Kassidy Lee of Okemah,
Joleann Turley of Henryetta,
and Reecie Turley of Henryetta,
three sisters, Arma Austin of Oklahoma City,
Elizabeth Gaskins of Spencer, Indiana,
and Janelle Washington of Muskogee,
sister-in-law, Paulette Rogers of Henryetta,
aunt, Pauline Proctor of Okemah,
uncle, Geronimo Starr & wife Myra of Okmulgee,
as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Friday, March 2, 2018 at Integrity Chapel (410 East Trudgeon St) in Henryetta, Oklahoma with Brother Bert Robison, officiating.
Immediately following the memorial a reception will be held at the Dewar Indian Community Center.
