Jacob Hill, a longtime area resident, passed away on June 10, 2017 in Henryetta at the age of 68. Jacob was born on May 17, 1949 in Hanna, Oklahoma to Jack Isaac Hill and Mary Proctor Hill.

Jacob spent his early years in Hanna before moving to Altus, OK while he was young. When he was in the 10th grade, Jacob returned with his family to the Dustin area. Following high school, Jacob served in the US Army. He later married and started his family. Jacob spent most of his adult life as a tobacco distributor in tribal plazas and stores. He also worked for Eufaula Head Start as a bus driver and spent approximately 10 years working for Aeon Heat and Air Company in Tulsa.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents; six brothers, Benjamin Hill, Roman Hill, Dave Hill, Eunice Hill, Chapman Hill and Dewey Hill; granddaughter, Shayna Smith, grandson, Devan Buckley; and a nephew, Chris Hill.

Jacob is survived by his wife, Marcella Hill of the home in Henryetta; sons, Jeff Hill of Okmulgee, Chris Hill and wife Amy of Okmulgee, Mose Lewis of the Wilson Community, Adam Hill of the home, Erwin Bear of the home, Shannon Starr of Morris, and Joe McGirt and wife Taiwanna of Eufaula and Adam Bear of Henryetta; daughters, Jacquelene Hill of Okmulgee, Jennifer Hill of Okmulgee, Emily Britt of Henryetta; 23 Grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Amy Hill and husband Jasper of Okemah, Maxine Hill of Weleetka, and LillIe Hill of Checotah; and 2 brothers, Billy Hill of Eufaula and Josie Hill of McAlester, OK; as well as many other extended family and many good friends.

Viewing will be held at Integrity Funeral Service from 3pm-6pm on Tuesday, June 13, 2017. A wake service will be held at Integrity Chapel from 6pm to 8pm on Tuesday, June 13, 2017.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00pm at Integrity Chapel on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 with Rev. Wallace Gambler and Rev. Phillip Harjo officiating. Burial will follow immediately at the Hill Family Cemetery near Dustin under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta.

Pallbearers will be Ben Hill, Alex Yargee, Michael Hill, Jack Hill, Isaac Hill, Roman Hill Jr., Sandy Watson, Danny Lindsay, William Hawkins, George Polecat and Billy James Hill. Honorary bearers will be Justin Hill, Josiah Buckley, Christopher Hill, Joseph Kelly, Christian Hill, Tyler Hill, Chase Hill and Jayden Hill.
