Charlsye Wakefield, a longtime resident of Henryetta passed away Sunday, May 7th, 2017 in Keller, Texas at the age of 86. She was born on August, 9, 1930 in Bonham, Texas to Paul Ray Wright and Verna (Biggerstaff) Wright

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill Wakefield, son, William Wakefield Jr. daughter, Sherry Wakefield, grandsons, Shawn Wakefield and Jason Wakefield and by her sister, Geraldine McGregor.

Charlsye is survived by her daughter,
Kathy Harper & husband Bryan of Keller, Texas,
6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren,
one great-great grandchild,
brother, Linus Wright of Dallas, Texas,
sister, Reeta Far of Idaho,
as well as other relatives and friends.


The family has deemed St. Jude Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee as appropriate for donations in honor of Charlsye in lieu of flowers.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 1:00pm at Memorial Park Cemetery in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
