Bridget McCroskey Obituary
Bridget Colleen McCroskey, a resident of Cordell, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Thursday, March 8, 2018 in Henryetta, Oklahoma at the age of 35. Bridget was born on November 7, 1983 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Larry Wade McCroskey and Anne (Peterson) Coleman.
Bridget grew up in the Shawnee and Manford areas. She attended and graduated from Wilson High School with the class of 2001. Bridget earned her CNA certificate as a certified nurse's assistant. Bridget was an avid reader, enjoyed raising her dogs, and thoroughly enjoyed traveling. She loved to camp and spend time with her family. She was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt and she will be deeply missed by the many people who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, James McCroskey, Arvella McCroskey, Jim Peterson, and Marie Peterson; as well as a cousin, Joseph Darrell McCroskey, Jr.
Bridget is survived by her father, Larry McCroskey of Cordell, OK; her mother, Ann Coleman and husband Jim of Cypress, CA; a brother, Larry James McCroskey of Oakland; a sister, Elizabeth "Liz" Kathleen McCroskey of Baltimore, Maryland; a step brother, Samuel E. Pow of Kagel Canyon, CA; a cousin, Lyndsey Mayes of Grove, OK; and by other extended family and many good friends.
A memorial service for Bridget will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Henryetta Senior Citizens Center, located at 11th street at Moore Street in Henryetta. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta.
